Program Overview

The School of Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the pioneering departments of then MIT Pune has excellent laboratory Infrastructure with investment of more than USD One Million. With more than 400 computers spread in 20 laboratories, the School has the state-of-the-art hardware and software tools required for research in cutting edge technologies in the field of electronics, communication, software, electrical and in allied areas. The School has executed several projects funded by Savitribai Phule Pune University and some projects of Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and other funding agencies are undergoing.

Ph.D admissions are done through MIT-WPU. The admitted candidates need to undertake coursework as per the University and UGC norms. Currently, the School has 10 Ph.D Supervisors guiding the doctoral students in above thematic areas. The candidates interested under take Ph.D Research may contact/visit the School.
