The School of Electronics and Communication Engineering has state of art facilities and highly qualified faculty. The school works with the objective of addressing the critical challenges faced by the industry, society and the academia. Perhaps even more important is our unceasing commitment to our students, helping them to learn, grow, develop, and achieve their goals in their pursuit to excel in their professional careers.
With more than 100 faculty and staff members it offers exclusive Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral program in new frontiers of Electronics and Communication Engineering with a focus on the application of knowledge. Currently, the school offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering; Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering with specializations in VLSI and Embedded Systems; Communication Networks and Software; and Doctoral (Ph.D.) programs.
To nurture the academic and research environment, we have more than 20 laboratories which provide a unique blend of resources and facilities to pursue research at the cutting edge of technologies in active collaboration with leading Industries. Faculty members work with excellent team spirit in a wide variety of domains including Signal Processing, VLSI, Embedded Systems, Wireless Networks, Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Video processing which leads to key research publications and funded projects in the recent years. Presently the school has bagged funded projects from the government agencies like the Department of Space and Department of Science & technology.
Our students get exciting opportunities to participate in research projects as well as in various activities through IEEE Student Branch, IETE Forum and Student Clubs. The school has several schemes to motivate and help the students by offering on-campus teaching and non-teaching jobs, and through unique Academic Performance Appreciation Scheme (APAS) and Consistent High Academic Performance (CHAP) schemes. With the sole vision to produce excellent technocrat, the school not only endeavors to enrich technology and science, but human values are also taught to students. Skill and knowledge relevant to real-world problems are inseminated to produce dynamic, socially conscious, sensitive human beings. The holistic approach stimulates innovation among our students by inspiring fresh ideas with different perspectives, creative thinking, and strong conviction to achieve true success.
