  • M.Tech in Data Science and Analytics (DSA)

This program provides advanced level courses in Data Mining, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Security and Privacy and Ubiquitous Computing.

  • M.Tech in Network Management and Cyber security(NMCS)

This program provides advanced level courses in Advanced Computer Networks, Distributed Computing, Network Management, Digital Forensics, and Applied Cryptography.

  • M. Tech in High Performance Computing (HPC)

This program provides advanced level courses in Supercomputing Architectures, Parallel Programming, Optimization Techniques and High-Performance Computing from the Application as well as Research point of view. This program is in collaboration with C-DAC Pune. C-DAC runs a specialized research unit for High-Performance Computing, this would provide very good research as well as a hands-on opportunity to the students. This course also provides students with requisite industry exposure.

Programme Overview


The M.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering is offered to students who are interested in advanced learning and research in Computer Engineering & Technology. The M. Tech program aims at equipping the graduates, with advanced conceptual knowledge, technical skills and ability to pursue research in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, appropriate to the present ICT scenario. Apart from the core courses, the student may choose electives depending on their interests. The structure and syllabus contents are categorized as Engineering Core, Departmental Core, Departmental Electives, Humanities, and World Peace Program, Self-Study and Online Learning.
Applicants to this program are expected to have a background in Computer Engineering or Information Technology. M.Tech the programme aims at preparing the students to take up an application as well as research & development activities in two core and emerging areas within Computer Science.

Programme Structure

M.Tech is a 2 years full time study Program which provides a rewarding career in engineering and technology world.


    • Duration : Two Years, Full Time Program

    • Pattern : Trimester System, Six Trimesters

    • Total Credits : Sixty-Six

    • Electives : Choice based electives to follow specialization tracks

Assessment


Evaluation pattern :

  • Continuous evaluation, Mid-Trimester Examination, End Trimester Examination.

  • The continuous assessment of all the courses of M. Tech course shall consist of assignments/case studies/tests/presentations.

  • The continuous assessment of theory course shall be evaluated on the basis of the class tests/assignments/case studies/quizzes. There will be minimum two assignments for each theory course. The individual student will also be evaluated based on attendance, class behaviour and discipline.

End Semester Examination :

  • The End Semester Examination for the theory courses shall be conducted at the end of the Course work and it will be of 50 marks.
