Chemical Engineering (B.Tech.)

Chemical engineers have been improving our well-being for more than a century. From the development of smaller, faster computer chips to innovations in recycling, treating disease, cleaning water, and generating energy.
Chemical engineers work in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, design and construction, pulp and paper, petrochemicals, food processing, specialty chemicals, microelectronics, electronic and advanced materials, polymers, business services, biotechnology, environmental health and safety industries, among others. B.Tech graduates can also work in government sector or choose to work in defence establishment, atomic power plant, and power conservation projects, recycling department or healthcare related projects. (DRDO, ISRO, NTPC etc), or in research fields in laboratories. (NCL, ISRO, etc) or get involved in IPR and knowledge management industry.
For higher studies, our students often pursue their MS, MBA, M.Tech or PhD from India and abroad.
