Description –

Every year a delegation of 20 from SLCC, USA visits MIT WPU for academic exchange and to learn Indian management practices

Outcome of the event-

This will help to bring the unity and balanced approach between two nations, two academic institutions. The students of FY BBA EM coordinated for three delegation visit wherein delegation went on to visit World Peace Dome at Loni. The world largest dome witnessed by delegation and was mesmerized by its presence.

A lecture series on Economy and musical meditation helped delegation to understand new aspects of MIT WPU

Sangeet Bharti and Nrutya Bharti

16th and 17th December 2019

Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT-WPU, Pune organized a Classical and Semi-Classical event “Sangeet Bharti and Nrutya Bharti” on 16th and 17th of December in Vivekananda hall.

There was a huge participant turn out from various colleges such as SP college, Symbiosis college, KHS college, Ferguson college, Garware college and many more. We had participants even from various classical academies like Manisha Nrutyalay, Nritya Prerna, Nrityaniketan and Layom institute of arts, just to name a few.

Description –

Mr Vishu Dhas Founder CEO at Edbern tribe strategies is having experience of organising and arranging various events also ventured into new sector of agriculture. He conducted a lecture on a topic of Event management current trends and technology. During his session he emphasised on team building and groupd dynmaics as well.
More than 70 FY and SY BBA event management students along with TY BBA / BBA (IB) event management dual specialisation attended the session.

This second edition of Bajaj Allianz Pune Half Marathon (BAPHM) returns at a much grander scale, ensuring another spectacle and best-in-class experience for the participants, volunteers and spectators. This edition will be held on Sunday, December 22nd, 2019.
We are a hundreds of miles and a habit. The race event is just the finish. Through training, you build up the habit that leads to wellness. Often it is a challenge for people to chalk out the right methodology to achieve the required training. While many don’t know where to start, there are another lot, fitness freaks, who love to train hard and run. We enable all of you!
Bajaj Allianz Pune Half Marathon is a journey in itself with the event being the culmination of the programme in its entirety. We provide our participants with a platform to set their goals and work towards them. We provide our runners with highly curated and personalised training programmes to ensure they challenge their physical boundaries

Outcome of the event-

To bring awareness among people about wellness and run, this marathon event helped our student volunteers/coordinators to get into the details of sports management, race management, and crowd management.

Uniqueness of the practice-

Health Run with over 15 thousands participants with support of media and brands.

Constraints/limitations/ challenges faced- To manage thousands of people always requires more hands still more than 100 student volunteers enrolled and 50 students participated for the same

Description –

Enthusia is an inter-collegiate event organized by our college twice a year. Season I is organized exclusively for Jr. College students. It is an event of its only kind in Maharashtra where students from 11th and 12th standard come on the campus to participate in various events like Dance, Music, Management Quiz, IT games, etc. Last Year around 1,000 students from 40 Colleges participated in the event.

This event will be a platform to all the students to display their talent, creativity, etc. This will help MIT WPU to maintain connect with students from every corner.

Description –

Young Indians will have to find their own paths for the future. Our volatile, uncertain and complex world will sustain when the next generations who enter the world of work will be well-rounded individuals with a strong base of human values, knowledge and required skills. We also need to have a youth generation which acts in a responsible and sustainable way in their personal lives as well as occupational pursuits. With this objective a unique competitive process and movement has been conceptualized by Yuvak Biradari in which youth across the country vie for a title of ‘Yuva Bhushan’. It is an annual competition conducted by Biradari with regional host partners which entails a written test, a Group Discussion, Interview, and also comprises of a physical fitness test and an assessment of their values in action. Yuva Bhushan Regional competitions take place in different towns and the toppers at the Regional level compete at the Final Round in Mumbai on 12 January (Yuva Diwas).

This event helped our students to identify potential clients while promoting event. And practice marketing activities.

Constraints/limitations/ challenges faced-

It was good but difficult to identify prospects as people differ from one another. So their expectations.

Diljit Dosanjh Show

This event was a part of Dilijeet Dosanjh India tour held at Pune, organised by Percept live in joint association with Big dream entertainment. This show had a footfall of more than 5000 people. Diljit Dosanjh is a popular Punjabi singer turned actor.
