Programme Overview


A Bachelors in Political Science has advanced from its initial days and now touches upon a mix of Political and other social sciences giving you a complete run-down of aspects of Government functioning, administrative functions, national & international politics, diplomatic relations and myriad aspects. MIT WPU adopts a balance study approach towards theory, workshops and regular talks by national & international leaders. Our key national initiatives like Bharatiy Chhatra Sansad, National Teachers Congress and National Woman’s Parliament allow all students to participate, play an active role and also get placed in Government & Political administration roles. Students of Political science can pursue higher studies or take up professions as Budget analyst, political scientist, PR officers and Political party marketers and influencers.

Programme Structure


The course duration for B. A Geography is three years programme based on the Choice Based Credit System and syllabus followed as per UGC guidelines. It is restructured into a trimester pattern with components of peace subjects offered as part of the MIT World Peace University Program. We employ WPU Method of (Continuously Updated Education System) to ensure our students have an edge over others in their Professional endeavors.

  • 1st Year – Three Years Full Time Undergraduate Programme with Trimester Pattern with Choice Based Credit System. The program requires you to achieve. Minimum 24 Credits to be achieved in First Year for admission to Second Year.

  • 2nd Year- Minimum 26 Credits to be achieved in the Second Year to be eligible for admission to Final Year. The student should clear all the subjects of First Year to become eligible for admission to Final Year.
