MCA program follows a 3 years intense technology curriculum which gives students in-depth understanding of Hardware Technology, Software Development, System Engineering, System Development, Systems Designing, Application Software Development, Enterprise Resource Planning, Computer Networks, System Administration, Web Designing and Development, Database Administration, Parallel and Vector Processing, Data Mining and Warehousing amongst other trending IT related subjects.

Students aspiring for pure play technical careers with large conglomerates should enroll for MCA course.
Usually Students who have finished BCA or engineering can apply for this course.

Programme Structure

MCA is a 3 year programme divided into trimesters and each trimester with specified choice based credit system. There are a total of 9 semesters and 5 Electives.

      • Total Programme Credits: 180 (All courses + SIP+ Internship+ WPU courses)

      • Semester I to Semester V, will have 1 World Peace Course with due credits

      • Guest Lectures per semester from National and International Speakers

      • Value added certifications from Dale Carnegie, Oracle, Microsoft, Cloud etc.

      • Minimum 2 live projects in the entire programme other than Industry Internship.

    Assessment
        • Continuous evaluation with credit based system

        • Term end: 50%

Eligibility

MIT-WPU follows UGC specified eligibility norms while accepting applications for admissions from students. To be eligible you need to meet the below mentioned criteria-

    • Candidate should be a graduate from any statutory university

    • Minimum marks at graduation level for General Category students- 50% and for SC/ ST/OBC/NT 45%.

    • Must pass mathematics/Business Mathematics & Statistics paper for 10+2 or graduation Level

    • Require current academic year valid scores for CET

    • Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to marks criteria as per point 2 above.

    • Candidates passing degree examination by part-time / correspondence / external course / distance learning or in one sitting are not eligible.
