The courses in first year are designed to provide detailed knowledge of various aspects of specialisation track. The student will be able to understand and analyse the real life societal problem. Internship at the end of the year will render to identify the ways of getting solution of the analysed problem. Internship will also help them to understand the actual practical methods of understanding the course curricula.
Second year will include core specialisation in the chosen track in his/her own trade. The study tour will offer global exposure and industry internship will offer real life industry experience. Capstone project will inculcate problem solving skills, self-development spirit, professional ethics and habit of self-learning.
An Edge at Masters Programme of MIT-WPU
The School of Civil Engineering has Centre of Excellence for `Innovative Design and Construction Technology` which is established atthe campus in collaboration with the building science department of the Politecnico De Milano, Italy. The Department has active Memorandum of Understandings (MOU) for collaborative research, with organisations like,Pune Construction Engineering and Research Foundation (PCERF), Builders Association of India (BAI), KL Structures USA,BSDC college UK, AKER Solutions, DBM Consultants, ICI, Ferro cement Society of India, Indian Society of Structural Engineers.
