Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA)

Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA) is an Undergraduate Academic course in the field of various performing arts. It includes Music, Dance and Drama. Evening short term diploma courses are also planned.

Objectives of the program

    • To impart knowledge of performing arts , music and drama and their development

Program Structure

The Three years fulltime BPA Programme is divided into trimesters and each trimester has various topics with specific credits.

    • All the subjects of Indian Classical Music, Western Music and Drama are compulsory in the First Year.

    • Specialization is offered in the Second Year.

    • Dissertation writing in the Third Year.

Assessment : 

Continuous assessment with credit based system.

    • Term end – 50%

    • Continuous assessment – 50%

MIT WPU follows UGC specified eligibility norms while accepting applications for admissions from students. To be eligible you need to meet the below mentioned criteria-

    • Passed 12th / (10+2) / HSC from any streams

    • Three years Diploma conducted by Board of Technical Education Maharashtra after SSC (or) passed its equivalent examination.
